We offer two options on how to organise a dance club, giving you the choice of what is best for your school. Clubs can be held Before School, After School or during Lunch Times.
We just need a reasonable-sized Hall or Classroom, preferably with a hard floor (no carpet).
DANCE WORKSHOPS
Our Dance workshops cover a variety of dance styles, topics, or themes. Each class/year group can learn a different routine or be part of one big routine.
We can create a performance either for the other children and/or parents/carers. A performance is optional but it’s a great way to end the day/session by allowing the children to perform their routines to an audience and see what the other classes have learnt.
Dance can be used to explore a variety of subjects in an active, engaging way including History, Geography, English and Maths.
Our workshops can be booked for a half day or whole day!
DANCE CPD
We understand not all teachers will feel confident in teaching dance. We aim to increase teachers' confidence and improve their skills to deliver their own lessons.
We provide a dynamic and fun workshop focusing on how to deliver dance lessons in schools. We aim for attendees to leave feeling confident that they can plan and deliver a dance lesson.
All workshops can be focused on either EYFS & KS1, KS2 or the Whole School.
We can provide a 1 hour, 2 hour or 3 hour workshop which could be during a training day or afterschool school.
DANCE COURSES
We can provide daytime lessons either to cover PE Lessons, teachers planning, preparation and assessment time or to work alongside teaching staff to provide a dance session which relates to the curriculum.
We can link our Dance Courses to different themes or subjects including but not limited to; history, music, World Book Day and Mental Health Day.
Dance Courses can be booked as a one-off lesson, half-day or a whole day.
